Budgitrack 1.2: built for iPhone Duo

Budgitrack 1.2 is now available on the App Store. It adds support for iPhone Duo, Apple's folding iPhone, so your budget can use the larger screen when the device is open.

What changes when you open iPhone Duo

When you open iPhone Duo, Budgitrack uses both pages. One page shows a summary and the other shows the detail, so you can see both at once without switching screens. Each page scrolls on its own, and the tabs move to a slim bar at the side, so both pages stay clear.

• Dashboard: your disposable income and this month's plan on one page, and where your money goes on the other.
• Income: your total income on one page, and each income source on the other.
• Expenses: your total and the category breakdown on one page, and every regular bill, grouped by category, on the other.
• Plan: your saved budget on one page, and the comparison with the changes you are trying on the other.

Hold iPhone Duo half open, like a small laptop, and Budgitrack puts one part of the screen above the fold and the other below it. Nothing is placed across the fold.

Folded, it works like any iPhone

Fold the device and Budgitrack continues on the cover screen with the familiar iPhone layout. You do not need to change any setting: the app adapts to the screen you are using.

Also in 1.2

The Annual plan now shows its saving calculated from the App Store prices in your country, instead of a fixed figure. The update also includes bug fixes and improvements.

Your data stays on your device

Budgitrack still does not connect to your bank. You enter your own figures, and your budget is stored on your iPhone. Version 1.2 does not change how your data is handled. The privacy policy explains the details.

How to get it

Update Budgitrack from the App Store. Budgitrack works on iPhone with iOS 17.6 or later. On iPhone Duo, the layout adapts around the fold. You can see every change in the changelog.
